England Performance Pathway
There is much confusion regarding the future of the Performance Pathway and this brief document seeks to provide clarification. England Netball has reviewed the Performance Pathway and there is a transition period until the new pathway begins in 2019/2020.
The Regional Academy no longer exists. Players within Regional Academy and Regional Performance Academy have moved into the U17/U19 National Super League and National Performance League environments.
From September 2018 a player must be in School Year 7 or 8 to qualify for U13 Academy and School Year 9 or 10 to qualify for U15 Academy. Essex Met Netball plans to adopt the new age groupings from September 2018 to ensure we are completely aligned to the new pathway structure by the time it officially begins.
The new Performance structure will look like this
