Happy New Year!

Newsflash-new Rules
New Rules are in place from 1 January (2.5, 3.3 and 7)-please check our website for the details. I will have copies for all umpires affiliated to Essex Met at the League game on 28 January.

Courses
3 umpiring courses have been arranged, all at Sacred Heart of Mary Girls’ School, Upminster, details on our website and on the notice board at Redbridge:-
B Award-5 February
Beginners-4 March
C Award- 22 April

 Please also check the London & South East Netball website for details of courses in other areas.

Umpires needed-11 March
Umpires are needed for the Regional Talent Festival at Redbridge on Sunday 11 March, 10am-4pm, minimum qualification C Award. Umpires will receive a fee of £25 plus travel expenses at 30p per mile. Please contact me if you are interested in umpiring at this Regional event.

As County Umpiring Secretary, I am available to provide information about tests, courses etc and to provide, or to advise on, assistance for umpires who wish to progress to a higher award.
