Essex Met Junior League 2022 \u2013 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Firstly, I would like to thank all the clubs, coaches, players, families and all other spectators for their support this season.
\nThe junior league had the highest number of entries we have ever seen. Having the indoor courts for the U16\u2019s allowed the league to go ahead without having to turn any teams away.
\nThe season started well and then the cold weather arrived which meant we had to cancel many games due to icy courts. Thankfully, with the support of everyone involved we managed to catch up on all outstanding matches and finish the season within our predicted timescale.
\nIntroducing the regrouping of the U13\u2019s after round one, as we did the U14\u2019s last season went well. This format gave teams more competitive games in round two. Hopefully we will be able to use the same format for the U12\u2019s next season.
\nI look forward to the coming season.
