Ladies
The older I become, the quicker the season appears to go!
We have come to the end of yet another successful season. A massive thank you for all your efforts this season, for all the camaraderie and generally good sportsmanship.
The weather was reasonably kind, with only a couple of dates requiring cancellations/rearrangements.
I appreciate that there were some issues with players being notified of shortnotice cancellations, and we propose to look at the way these communications go out for the forthcoming season.
The Executive Committee sought the views of the membership this season, and we are grateful for the ideas put forward, all of which have been given consideration.
As previously, the divisions were keenly contested, and we are looking forward to an equally successful ‘23-’24 season.
Well done to all of the winners and runners up, and commiseration to those being relegated.
It just remains for me to say enjoy the summer break and come back refreshed and ready for the challenges in the 2023-2024 season.
